Our 2004 chevy trailblazer ignition key won't go in because of a botched theft. What do I need to replace and fix etc??

There was a piece of flat head stuck in it but
I got it out.

you can get one for about $50-$55 online, how ever I did see this one on ebay ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/141217579186?lpid=82 ) for about $65 and it comes with the matching door lock, so you can still use 1 key instead of having to keep both of them.
