How to get better gas mileage?

In my experience, two things are most important: anticipate stops and slow down on the highway. By anticipating stops you can lay off the brake and coast as much as possible to slow down. I do this a little less if someone is behind me so as not to be annoying.
Driving habits yes is a biggie, along with a complete tune-up, & keeping the oil changed, and proper air pressure in the tires, and good working order exhaust.
Also, running a fuel injection cleaner threw the gas tank once a month, especially if you use the lower octain fuel as it has methanol in it which will gum up injectors over time. A lot of premium gas dose not have the methanol added to it.
Number 1 thing to help maintain fuel mileage is to have the tires properly inflated. Also as previously stated, driving habits are very important.
Tune it up, inflate your tires properly (35 psi) and if you have put oversize tires on it change those out to stock size as big tires will reduce gas mileage a lot. Driving habits are the biggest thing that you can control. Take it easy and don't exceed the speed limit and no stop light drag races.
