possible transmission problems? Just want to be sure before I buy a whole new transmission.
I bought a 2004 Chevy trailblazer about 9
months ago, she ran perfect, no problems at
all for the first four months or so then
suddenly it started slipping gears usually
when I'd just start out, it would rev up to
about 4,500 RPMs, I'd let off the gas, give
her a second and she'd be fine.. That
happened a few times and then about a
month later it started slipping gears once I
reached about 40 mph, it'd start revving up
again, all the way up to 5-6,000 RPMs and I
realized I could not drive in gear anymore
until I reached more than 40 mph I could
only drive in second gear so I just stopped
driving it all together because I can't afford a
new transmission, is it possible there's
something else wrong and my transmission
is fine?
