2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Asked by Ashley Dec 21, 2018 at 12:16 AM about the 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car ran fine no issues until it was broken
into. But the morning I found it my daughter
had a DR. Apt and on the way there the
check engine light came on, the oil pressure
gauge stays at 60 when it's usually resting at
40. The engine isn't making any noises but
when I took it to advance the machine came
back with almost 200 codes....... Just to be
sure it wasn't an error we cleared the light,
when it came back on i took it to AutoZone
and the same codes came back up..... It's
$280 to do the advanced diagnostic test and
I can't afford that this close to Christmas.....
What could possibly make that many codes
at once? What did this person do to my car?
Any advice or help is appreciated! It only has
132K miles on it so I don't want to junk it if I
don't have to! I'm just at a loss with no
direction.....

That's a tough one, where's the damage of where the thief broke in at? Did the thief do any damage to steering column?
