my 1998 mercedes e320 tries to crank but will not turn over

my mercedes e320 just had the starter replaced and started once but now it will
crank but will not turn over. does that mean the fuel pump is out and needs to
be replaced?

You need to see what's missing fuel or spark, find the injection test port on the fuel rail unscrew the cap depress the schraeder valve have someone turn the switch on did you get fuel? No pump isn't workindcheck fuses before replacing pump. If Yes remove a plug wire insert a screwdriver into the boot and then hold the metal part of the screwdriver 1/2 in. away from a metal part of the engine block and have someone crank the engine, do you see a spark? If no check ignition system

Hi I had the same problem car would turn over but would not start it ended up being the K40 relay on my 1996 Mercedes E320
