my Asa abs light come on when I start the car and won't go out why

Simple, your ABS has failed. It happens, just give yourself more distance between you and the next car. There are many older cars on the road without ABS. It's definitely a great feature, but, if you want to skip the expense of fixing it, your brakes will still stop the car. It's about $750 to 1,000 to repair. On a 1994 car, I would just skip it and replace your car later when you are ready. All newer cars come standard with ABS those days. Back in 94, it was not as common.
