gears hang up in 1995 S320 Mercedes

Gears hang up after a few miles, they do change but not right, if you let off the gas, they will change

that really sounds like a transmission mount....put a floorjack with a woodblock and jack it up till contact...then another 1/2"...the rubber will show it's state...crumbly and in need of replacement~
