03 Avalanche replaced fuel pump 2 years ago, fuel pump recently failed again - it was replaced along with the fuel filter.Failed to start four times in the past month w/o pumping the gas pedal?

2003 Chevy Avalance with 143K miles - it has been in the shop for two days and they cannot replicate the problem of it not wanting to start without pumping on the gas pedal - would could this be?

Good to know - it is kind of habit to try something like pumping the pedal when the engine does not start. Are you saying if we keep trying w/o hitting that pedal - it just might start?
