I realize that you asked this over a year ago. This is very simple procedure on my 1994 model. Simply open the glovebox and pry off the small black cover over the phillips head screw. Remove the cover, undo the screw, and gently pry off the cover. That will reveal the underlying mechanism with the four dials. There are phillips head screws on each end. Remove the screws. There are two tabs above the screws that lock into the frame above it. They lock in to a small pair of tabs that can be seen in the bottom of the vents above. Press the pair of tabs downward from the vents and it should release the tabs to the four dial mechanism. When the tabs are released, the dial mechanism will pop outward. There are two light sockets on the top of the four dial mechanism that are covered by felt tape. Remove the tape and unscrew the light sockets. Bring the light bulb with the gray plastic ends into the dealer to get an exact match. There are many similar bulbs that will not fit. In spite of this explaination, reassembling will take less than 90 seconds.
