Car won't start after I found water in the vent and passenger side

Water in the engine and on passenger side...it shut
all power off to the xar

Thank you Tom...i think I found it.Its in the vent.When I get it dried out do you think it will start on it's own?

What did you do about getting you car started my car is also doing the same think after a storm.water got in on my passenger side through the climate control,system and all tell broke loose with the electric componets

MY 1996 MERCEDES S 500 WAS GETTA WINSHIELD REPLACEMENT AND HOOD WAS UP WHEN STARTED RAINING ...MOTOR GOT WET ...THIS MORNING DRIVING TO WORK SMOKE STARTED COMING IN CAR FROM UNDER WINSHIELD AND HOOD ... I STOPED AND OPEN HOOD AND SMALL BOX BEHIND THE LARGE FUSE BOX WAS SMOKING AND VERY HOT ..WAITED 15 MIN AND DONT START NOW ???
