Battery has a full charge and connections all good? Engine cranking, you have compression--spark at the plugs-- proper fuel pressure--fuel injector pulse? Any applicable trouble codes? I haven't checked about your security system?

you need to test for proper fuel pressure and spark , something may have gone bad by pure coincidence while the work was being done , I would think the rings would be suspect when compression is lost
