my 2001 f-250 superduty front locking hub has went out on the drivers side twice in the past mo.seems like the center spline is a bit loose on that side?

went out again after a week and that cost $505.00 at the dealership I am going to try to get them to replace it but don't want it going out again. The center spline seems to be a bit of movement when you wiggle it. The other side doesn't

All they can do is see why, i do not hear this as common. They look for a failed part and are supposed to solve the cause.
