Asked by Guru82HTV Jan 07, 2020 at 03:10 AM about the 2001 Ford F-250 Super Duty XL LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I haven't started my truck in
about a year to a year and a half
now. I've replaced the batterys
and. Frame mounted fuel pump.
I fuel. It up. And at first it took
some doing but I finally started
and ran fine. For 20 minutes so I
shut it off think I'd won. The next
day I go out to crank it again and
move it it ran for about 3 min
moved 20 feet and died
suddenly I tried it few more time
and got it back running and even
with. Me pressing on to throttle
it still dies and it all at ones not
slowly just cute out

1 Answer

I would use a fuel system cleaner and hope for the best. Change the fuel filter too.
