Truck batteries getting drained over night

Asked by Kenny Dec 22, 2018 at 01:23 AM about the 2005 Ford F-250 Super Duty XLT Extended Cab LB 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So recently i had my front brakes all replaced
because the caliper blew and not long after i got
that fixed like the next night my batteries to my
truck have been draining over night when the truck
is off and i have a dashcam that runs 24/7 and
have never had any problems with my batteries til
now i had the alternator tested and it came back
good then the batteries got tested  and that also
came back good but i have like a 1 amp draw off
my battery when the truck is off any ideas cause
disconnecting 2 batteries gets annoying when you
have to disconnect them every time you leav the
truck off for more than 6 hours

Anything plugged in the accessory ports? Many fords will charge devices while engine is off. All buttons off in truck. I have seen where an accessory button is on in the vehicle but item is off and it causes a parasitic drain
