A BUDDY OF MINE AS A 2003 IMPALA XCOP CAR HOW DO YOU KNOW IF IT IS A 9C1 OR 9C3

The Chevrolet Impala Police Package is available in both "marked patrol" (9C1) and "undercover" (9C3) variants. With extensive reinforcements to a base model Impala, both models include special features not found on civilian vehicles. In 2005, both models were powered by a special Chevrolet 3.8-liter V-6 with a top speed fuel cut-off at 124 to 129 mph. --Typical 9C1 pictured below..not sure how the cops sold the out of service 9C1's, since they don't want people pretending to be cops...probably had the sides repainted??---

Look in the glove box and look for a sticker with all the build codes, there you should find the number 9C1 or 9C3. The sticker will look like the picture I have posted
