How much torque do the head need?

You need to get a repair manual. Seriously. Today's engines require much more than just the final torque spec. Some are Torque-to-Yield Head bolts and other require special sequences (especially for Aluminum heads).

LIke Tracy said you need the procedure as detailed in a repair manual. There are torque setting, sequences and other details that are Critical to a successful job. If this were my car I would probably buy new head bolts.
