Theft system light

These are known for having anti theft issues, Try a "reset" on the Theft system. Step 1: put key in ignition on the "on" position Step 2: open driver door Step 3: wait 10 minute until theft system light stops blinking Step 4: turn on car

Holly, this make an model has a lot of problems with the Anti theft system. An it could cause the car from starting. What Auto_Centric, was telling you is correct it will reset it but it will continue coming back! Also you should have someone by pass the theft system by cutting the yellow wire behind the radio. That will take care of the theft system an problems that that it causes!!!! Good luck!

Could I just turn key to ACC,put parking lights on, wait 10 mins, turn off,wait a few seconds then start? Cause sometimes I have to do that when it doesn't start. Now, that started a month or 2 ago off n on.

Have you tried another key? Also I would recommend that you do not cut any wiring.

Like Bob said try another key if you have one...
