gauges and radio wont work after changing the alternator whats going on

the check engin light is on, the abs brake light is on the alternator went out while drivng, i chnged it but sparked the hot wire on the engine block while disconnecting it and now the speedometor tack radio wont work. the thing runs fine and it is charging. I check the fuses under the steering wheel they seem fine

Look at your manual and locate each fuse associated with the non working component.

NEVER do any electrical repairs while the battery is still connected. ALWAYS disconnect the cables first. You blew a fuse or ? when that spark happened. Kenny/MrBlueOval
