Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1997 f250 460 gas   Turns over but won’t start  I put gas n
it and it died while fueling. Then ten mins later on way
home I go around a curve and it dies. My bro pulled me
home and tried to pull start it with no luck.  Checked coil it
has fire to the coil but none outta the coil. I went against
my better judgment and replaced coil and no change
When key is in on position u can hear both fuel pumps
What would cause fire to the coil and none outta the coil?
It’s been down for a month or so and desperately need to
get it back on the road ASAP. Thanks n advance

This is distributor ignition correct? Primary voltage to ignition coil goes hot with the key on, sounds like you have primary voltage. The other primary wire from coil should be ground, it goes to ignition module. The ignition module switches the ground on and off to induce secondary voltage. You have the coil wire--distributor cap and rotor. Does the rotor turn when you crank it? There is a misfire sensor that gets signal from front end , crankshaft damper. That maybe similar to a crank sensor. I can only talk in generalities. bbbind.com has your wiring diagram.
