Front passenger seat

Asked by millerstwo Apr 24, 2013 at 10:33 AM about the 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT Crew Cab

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The front passenger seat IS NOT manually operated it's motorized. I took a large friend to the doctor so I put him in the back seat moving the front seat forward to accommodate his size. As the front seat moved motored forward it seemed as if it was not going to stop until it hit the glove compartment so I quit advancing the seat. Now the seat will not go back to its original position but can still advance forward. Could you please give me help on how to repair? Thank you for your time.
