i do not have tail lights, yet I have break lights , flashers,turn signals

Note the diagram. Did you check fuse, upper left, in diagram? as you can see, tan wire with white tracer carries voltage to headlamp switch. You can use a test lite to check for voltage. When you turn on headlamp switch, the brown wire carries voltage for tail lamps. You might be able to bypass head lamp switch to see if tail lamps will work? Pull fuse, use jumper wire between tan wire with white tracer and brown wire, replace fuse. If tail lamps work, I think problem with head lamp switch. If it still doesn't work, problem with wiring circuit, somewhere.
