Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How do i change the surpantine belt ?  i assume I can put a allen wrench or socket drive in the tension pully and pull the tension off the belt

use a 3/8 ratchet to move the tensioner. You will see a square hole in the arm that comes off the tensioner pulley, that is where the socket goes. Keep the old belt and a ratchet in the truck as a spare.

yes listen to that jack off jerk jeff, when you get the old one off, their should be a lable that showes how it goes back on,i have found it easier to put it back on with the belt on the tensor then put on alt, done.

PSSt, the engine isnt transverse mounted. You don't need to look at the catalyst sticker.
