Rear brake lights, TURN SIGNAL, AND HAZARDS DONT WORK ONLY TAILLIGHT DOES

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck brake lights don't work for some reason and
it's not the blue because the turn signal is on the same
circuit and when I took off the brake light and pulled
out the bulb and used the turn signal and it was
blinking fast like it was on crack or something so I
know there has to be something up and I've seen
multiple posts saying just tilt the steering column up
and down but my steering column doesn't have a tilt
feature so how can I address the issue and for those
wondering the front lights work perfect and the back
top brake light works just not both sides on the bottom
HELP ME PLEASE!!

You need a multi tester and know how to use it to see what has power/ground and what don't . Otherwise you're just strokin' it

Sounds like the turn signal switch. The top brake light is wired directly from the brake pedal switch to the light in the back. It bypasses the turn signal switch. The other two brake lights are wired through the turn signal switch. So, since the top brake light is still working it's most likely the turn signal switch. Jim
