Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am trying to replace a blown fuse on 2003 Chevy Tracker. The fuse will not just pull out. Is there a trick to replacing this fuse. The fuse block is in the engine compartment

No trick--- just get a proper fuse puller, Do NOT use needle-nose pliers, you will break it and open a can of worms. A fuse puller can be bought at any parts house for under $4. But are we talking about a fuse that looks like this? If not...please describe or post a pic.

They are very close in the first pic. They are just a little wider and have an blown fuse indicator at the top of the fuse.. The I need to replace is marked 80 and it is definitely blown.

Yeah Jim those are just examples of the type. They come in different sizes, and amperage (like your 80)..80 is a BIG one, not big in size but big in carries a lot of current, a main. But my answer stands, if you try to pull a stubborn one with pliers it will break and create more trouble, you will have to get the terminals out. No trick, just a good puller. There may even be one clipped to the fuse box as it's known under the hood Power Distribution Box.
