2003 Chevrolet Tracker smoke (looks white to me) comes out from under driver side of hood and next to windshield. Not overheating and can find no oil leaks.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Only have to drive about ten miles. The
farther/longer I drive, the more it smokes. I
only see it when I turn the car off but can
smell it when idling...like going through a
drive-thru.

if it's coming out from under the hood, leave the car running, open the hood, and take a look- you should be able to see where it's comin' from

I only see it when I turn the car off but have already done that. I was hoping this would be easier to diagnose but I guess it must be something I am going to have to let a professional mechanic look at if the cargurus can't find it. I was hoping to avoid that. Thanks anyway gurus. I will let you know what it is when I find out in case someone else has this problem then you can help them.
