03 trailblazer traction

Asked by Cogarchic Mar 13, 2020 at 07:26 PM about the 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am getting stuck on top of slick mud. It is rear
wheel drive.    It’s like rear end is being dragged not
traction. The “TC” button shows error when this
happens.  Also I can accelerate but does speed up

This makes no sense. If you are stuck you probably need better tires and 4WD.

All traction control does is apply brakes to the spinning wheel which means when you are in slick conditions your car won't move.
