It could be rust. It could be broken wires in the rubber conduit by the hinges.
Few days prior to the window not rolling down the bottons on that door were blinking and beeping at me also. Now the bottons won't work and when I press my unlock botton it won't unlock. Even if I press it from my keyless entry and my driver side.
