Why does truck spudder I had to pump gas pedal repeatedly just to get me over to the side of the road.

truck fired up right away as usual been running fine, then all of a sudden it started to idle high and check engine light went on, after truck warmed up I pulled away and then it started to idle high and spudder, it shut down, I fired it up again and pumped the gas pedal repeatedly just to get me through the light and two blocks and pulled over.

could be a number of possible problems causing it. I would start by having it scanned for codes if I were to guess though I would say the tps or throttle poisoning sensor went out

U already have the check engine light on, just take it to ur local auto parts place fof a free scan. It's probably related to throttle positioning sensor, throttle body or EGR valve
