Attempting to diagnose a steering issue, I was
wondering if you knew how many revolutions
my steering wheel should make before it hits
the stop?

I have a significant amount of play in my steering while driving but I'm not noticing any play in the steering wheel down to the gear box nor am I seeing anything at the pitman arm. I'm planning on replacing all tie rods but my wife noticed that I have a full revolution more then her 97. While I know they are completely different in design I was curious if my revolutions at the wheel were normal or if I had a separate issue there as well.

No, steering wheel is tight all the way down to the gear box. Also seems tight at the pitman arm. I'm not overly familiar with the truck at this point I just bought it 3 months ago, just trying to get all the info I can on how the steering was originally set up so I can get to all the issues.
