Rear motor fails half way

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The rear wiper turns on and it moves but half way through, it shudders and
doesn't move any more.. It just keeps shuddering against the window. If I turn it
off, it continues until I manually finish the cycle. A mechanic said its the motor,
but I suspect it could be the assembly.

Ah.. ok then.. great to know.. so is that the issue? something in the assembly area is worn out? gears rusted, etc?
