why wont my truck start

went to start my truck did not start saw that mice have ate my air cleaner removed air cleaner put new one in went to stat truck runs real bad blowing black smoke.

MAKE SHURE NO DEBRIS WENT INTO THE INTAKE ALSO INSPECT FOR DAMAGED WIRING !

Inspect wiring, if everything checks out ok, you'll have to remove intake and clean it.

Let it run and see if u get a check engine light, see what code it gives u and take it from there

Sorry i forgit it's a 92. Run and disconnect one sparkplug wire at a time and see which one does not have an effect on engine, the one that doesn't make a difference when u disconnect it, that's the cylinder you want to troubleshoot. Check for spark, compression or fuel

Careful for shock with spark plugs. Use leather gloves or well insulated tools when checking for spark
