Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my 93 F150  has a very "goosey throttle" and dies occasionally at idle when
putting trans in gear. Any suggestions???/

Follow-up: This truck also has a weird transmission leak---sometimes, it will belch out a large puddle of fluid when parked, I can't find the source, and it can be parked for weeks with no leakage. Then, when I think all is well, it does it again. Very unpredictable! Have had it looked at at a transmission shop. He suggested maybe a module(?) on the side of the trans leaks. Could this be related top the throttle and idle issue? I am an old -time shade-tree mechanic and do not understand all these computer systems. CAN ANYONE HELP?
