F150 dies 1 idling and sometimes when you press on the break coming to a stop

My F150 idles at a very very low idle all the time sometimes
it dies and sometimes it dies when you press on the break
coming to a stop other than that it starts right up and runs
fine  And the check engine light is not coming on can you
tell me why this is happening
