Transfer case

My  truck is locked in 4 low. Manual shift 5 speed.
How do I unlock?

Have you tried backing up a little bit then putting it in neutral and sliding it into 2wd?

Manual or electric shift? Manual shifters can take a lot of force. Driving back and forth in a straight line a little and then stopping and shifting should do it but if you have been driving on dry roads in 4WD then it may be really difficult.
