Head swapping in my 1993 F 150 4x4 302 EFI MOTOR.

FIRST IS THE DISTRIBUTOR SHAFT ON A 351W LONGER THAN
THE ONE IN A 302 BOTH MOTORS ARE EFI 'S. THE 302 IS 1993 /
351W IS 92.
THIS IS WHAT I NEED TO KNOW , WILL THE HEAD OFF THE 351W
MOTOR FIT ON THE 302 ? THE 351 BAD BOTTOM END, 302 HAS
WHAT MAY BE A BAD HEAD POPS OUT THE EXHAUST  AT A IDLE
AND RUNS LIKE IT HAS A DEAD CYLINDER UNTIL IT WARN UP
THEN SOME OF THAT GOES AWAY

The heads on the 302 and 351 are the same. if you are swapping them from one to the other everything will fit that came off the original assembly. I do believe that the 351 has a longer shaft on the distributor and can't be interchanged with the 302 version.

THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT I KIND OF THOUGHT THE THE HEADS WOULD WORK JUST DOUBLE CHECKING,BEFORE I TEAR DOWN. I I DID REMOVE THE DISTRIBUTOR SHAFTS ARE SAME LENGTH, BUT THE 351W BIGGER AROUND
