Hydraulic clutch

Asked by GuruNWY92 Jan 31, 2020 at 03:29 PM about the 1994 Ford F-150 XL 4WD SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Foot slipped off the clutch pedal, and the
eyelet that connects to the pedal linkage
broke. New or rebuilt master cylinder and I
can't get any resistance from the pedal.

While shifting my 1994 F-150 5 speed the clutch pedal went to the floor. Luckily I was passing in front of a Ford Dealer in a small town. A mechanic came out to check it out. The problem was the little white plastic clip on the clutch linkage was worn out and had just fell apart. He walked back inside and returned with the new plastic clip and it has worked fine ever since. There were no other issues after that. Sounds like your problem.
