Sorry, I neglected to put in question that it has to be for driver side, not passenger side. Dealers don't want to even look at this task so I need to find someone who will find a switch and install it.

there isn't a driver's side airbag in 1995....they did not put them on the driver's side 'till 1997~

I have a 1995 and it does have a driver side bag ... and also the feds have an order form to Request for On/Off Airbag Switch. So they've had to back off the mandate because the bags are so dangerous for short people who sit close to the wheel. It's just that so many shops are not educated and they are afraid to touch it, unfortunately.

try junk yard dog it's a parts locator service going by your zip code. if you find one maybe they will install it for you.

Not so sure I want to trust used part for this ... if used part fails and bag deploys with a bumper thumper odds not so good for driver ...

...you know ktrinc...have never trusted the notion of something exploding in my face to "save me"...certainly the deployment will cause more terror than a front-on impact (and how many of those have you had in your life)...if we can only get others to drive responsibly and not take un-necessary risks with OUR lives, 'cause they drive a 3500 lb. killer and they are only 3 1/2 years old and no not what they do...must be excused by the judge~

Yes, it is a sad state of affairs. Autos of the 40s and 50s were infinitely more safe than these plastic projectiles of today. A bumper thumper in those days was just that and no more, didn't even show a scratch. No airbag necessary, no seat belt necessary because those autos did not roll over on a whim nor did the doors fly open the minute a wheel hit the shoulder. Now drivers are strapped in with an airbag ready to deploy on a whim. A friend's bag deployed with results: concussion, all front teeth out, nose and cheek broken, shoulder wrecked. Told lucky to be alive: This is NOT safety. I've always had older autos with no airbags, ONE accident in decades, head on, no airbag, just a bruise, because the auto was heavy and not plastic. This F150 needs an ON/OFF switch or the bag removed ...

ooooo, I hear ya---you smile must have brushed white teeth or they won't let you into disneyland for $75...it's a matter of courtesy to our fellow motorists...getting honked at cause I'm waiting for the goose to cross...getting honked a because I'm waiting for the pedestrian to cross...have half a mind to get out of my car and take a tire iron to his windshield~

Michael Hastings car was going at extremely high speed and burst into flame on impact...these things are mysterious and unexplained...no doubt there were many in the Television news business who wanted to shut that guy up....could it have been a mistake?....should I not be asking questions?....burst into flame?
