Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So, My truck wont start, at first I thought it was the
Starter, so I replaced that, then It still didnt start.
After using a screwdriver on the Starter Solenoid, I
got the truck started. I went and replaced that, but
it still wont start. Also, battery is new. Anyone got
any ideas?

Make sure battery has a full charge and battery cables/connections all good. The diagram is part of starter circuit. The starter relay is probably a fender mounted component, close to battery. If you use a long shank screwdriver and short across the two large terminals, the starter motor should crank the engine. The two large terminals are load side of so-called relay. Then you have to be concerned with the control side of relay, The control side needs voltage and ground. One of the smaller terminals at relay should go hot with key in the crank position and is probably wired through neutral switch, depending on transmission. I can only talk about what my database shows, If database is wrong, my bad.
