sry didn't read it completely... is it trying to start or just cranking? also cant remember if that has a theft chip in the key? any after market remote start or alarm?

I found the problem I think. The spark plug wire from the coil to the distributor was arcing slightly killing my spark. I am going to change it tomorrow. I am fairly confident that that is the issue. Time for a tune up anyway. Thanks for the time and answers.

if it still acts up after replacing your plug wires its problely the modual on the side of the distributor,i had those burn out before on a few of my fords from that era.
