2002 blazer cuts out when accelerating and engine light flashes

It is misfiring, get the codes pulled and find out which cylinder(s) doing it, random misfire could be a rotor buy-in that has burnt through, fuel pump, or filter, cylinder specific 1-6 could be a plug, wire, cracked distributor cap.. kinda ruling out injectors because they have a tendency to either be bad or good no real in between. A spark plug gapped at .35 put under a heavy load inside the engine becomes equal to over an inch at atmospheric pressure due to the air molecules being compressed so close together in the engine. Plenty of falling plugs, wires, etc. are far enough away from the nearest ground that it will run right when it isn't under a load, once it goes under a load the electricity will take the path of least resistance.
