my 4x4 says its locked in on my 1998 f150 but the front tires dont pull. replaced front axles and actuator and still doesnt work. i feel it pulling a little bit but when i go to hit the gas a little more my back tires just spin like its not locked in. what could be the problem

its ran off vacuum check on the front middle axle and see if its just stuck that was the problem I had. I just used a flat head and put a little pressure and he should come right out. I found out later your suppose to engage it every so often so this don't happen. live and learn I guess
