my 1998 ford f150 4.2

On my 1998 ford f150 4.2 , changed the battery 3 times , changed the
alternator 4 times ,changed the starter twice .
new spark plug wires ,new spark plugs , new coil pack ,new alternator
connector ,
driving long ways or short ways the trucks gauges die ,radio turns off .
if i take my foot off the gas it almost dies but most times i get home .
Done this today got home and checked voltage while still running it was 8.75
volts and checked turned on lights and heater and  truck died , checked
battery voltage it also was 8.75  help help Don

I think you have some electrical corrosion/problems , look for anything obvious or get a technician , Not a job for Johnny jerkwrench

Follow the wire from the alternator to the battery. On the firewall on the passenger side of the truck is a black 175 Amp fuse for the alternator. with the truck not running check both side of the fuse for battery voltage. I've seen those fuses blow from not disconnecting the battery when changing alternator.
