Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've had left and right turn signal/brake light bulbs burn out shortly after replacement.  Is
this a flasher problem or turn signal switch?

These cars had major issues with fussable links...it could be you have a short because of a link.... I had to completely rewire the front end of my car because bulbs kept burning out. The issue is cause she too much voltage reaches the bulb and it blows... Look for signs of green discoloration on the outside of the wiring.
