I have a 2000 Ford F-150 Harley Davidson 2wd, V8 5.4 motor, automatic transmission and a rear axle radio of 3.73. In the manual it indicates a “Maximum Trailer Weight” of 4,000 Lbs.pounds and other F-150 models with same specifications have a Maximum Trailer Weight of 8,700. My question is if this is related with the Shock Absorber, Leaf Spring, Aluminum Drive Shaft of Transmission? Regards

I would say all of the above but the main reason is the supercharged engine is not well suited for towing.

My 2000 Ford -f-150 Harley Davidson addition is hesitating to take off and to stay running. It seems to be idling right most of the time. What could be the problem. Plz. Single mom. Can't afford to change parts that are not necessary
