2000 F150 power issue

Changed starter, solenoid, now when i connect the battery
(+) the starter engages. Is it a fusible link issue? I van take
cabke off, touch it to the +, and it cranks. WTH

I'm just going to change out the wire assembly from the battery to starter. Can't find the exact name on the parts app though.

Go back to the starter solenoid you replaced and check all the wiring. Sounds like you may have crossed some wires.

I believe so. The seems to be engaged all the time until I disconnect the wore. Thanks All. I'll let ya know.

Note the diagram, pull or disconnect the starter relay, see if it kills the cranking? If it does, have to check relay and wiring circuits. In the diagram, upper wire on left side of relay, I believe, tan wire with red tracer, should not be hot unless key is in the crank position. If wire is hot, key off either ignition switch has a problem or wiring circuit shorted to voltage. good luck.

I'm going to replace all the wires from battery to starter. After that and it doesn't work, I don't know.
