Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After IRMA my husband took the extra gas (for the generators) and added it to my 2001 F150, that was fueled to the near  max. Now it will crank but not start. I removed about 5 gallons from the tank and the gauge is showing less than full, but still not starting. He said that it is the h2o intake that is bad.... Really. please advise me as to what to do before I "scream".

Drain tank and blow out lines. Add motorkote fuel optimizer to gas tank after refueling. Add 4 oz of this to full tank.

I never use old or previously used gas in anything I value. I use it to clean paint brushes or tools or my hands or to start backyard wood bonfires. The gas in the generator probably had too much water in it.
