F150 runs great bet sluggish off line

I had my 2001 f50 in the shop more than once and
asked why is the 4.6 v8 sluggish on take off?  It
runs m s great going down the road and smooth
idle just sluggish on takeoff. I have had it on
computer and it says everything is fine. It has
stock 245-70-17s  and I asked if the tires were to
big but the plate on the door says it is correct for
the truck.  I'm lost as if the computer is not po
picking up anything what could it be other than
operator error ( on computer).

Have the air filter and the fuel filter been recently replaced? You might try cleaning the mass airflow sensor located in the air duct between the air filter and the throttle body.
