2006 f150 runs rough

when warmed up it idles rough runs smooth as accelerating and cruise....but
sometimes gets rough and you have to tape gas peddle ...(this all happened
after I changed the coil packs for other problem which did get fixed )

Probably need to change out the spark plugs, clean the Mass Air Flow sensor with MAF spray cleaner, along with cleaning the throttle body, and make sure the air filter is clean. If this does not solve the problem, the the EGR Valve would need to be looked at.

How many miles on this Ford? Is the check engine light lit? What brand of coils did you use?

Just my two cents. I've owned fords for over 40 years. The newer models are finicke when it comes to resistance specifications on the coil. Same goes for plug wires. I only use motorcraft.
