Fuel Problems

I have an 02 F150 5.4 4x4 that won't start. It was
diagnosed as a fuel pump and I replaced it and still
won't start. I also replaced the oil pressure sensor.
This truck is not equipped with a fuel pump driver
module. I checked the inertia switch and it wasn't
tripped either. I saw some where that you could put
your finger on the fuel pump relay and someone
turn the key over and if you feel it click it is good. It
did click so I am assuming that it is good. I may
replace anyway. I am getting frustrated, any help
would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Have it read for codes, even if the check engine light is NOT on the computer will have stored information and codes. Discount auto stores will read codes for no fee. write them down.

You would hear the fuel pump prime up when the key is first turned to the on position. If you hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds, then you know the fuel pump is getting power and is working. You may need to do a fuel bleed down test to see if you have any leaks, leaky injectors or lines.

Thank you. At that point I did not hear fuel pump prime. I did go ahead and buy another relay and it does seem like the problem is fixed. For the moment.
