2002 Chevrolet Impala rear view mirror lights wont turn off.

The two lights under the rear view mirror stay on once the car is turned on until
the car has been off for 10 minutes.  Really annoying at night makes it hard to
see just looking for some info.

Each one of those lites has its own switch on the mirror, are these turned off? They are hard to locate on some mirrors. If they are both off, they are both bad (not likely)

yeah, they're both off. ended up just pulling the clip out of the mirror because i couldn't figure it out. wiring issue somewhere just dont know where
